Who we are
Traqer is a product of Creaq Technologies, which operates from the Republic of Liberia. We run it, and we are the people to ask about anything on this page. Write to support@creaqtech.com and a person will answer.
The law we answer to
We are a Liberian company, so Liberian law is the law that governs how we hold your information. Four things make that up, and it is fair to say what each of them does.
- The Constitution. Article 16 of the Constitution of the Republic of Liberia is the privacy right itself. These are the Constitution's own words: no person shall be subjected to interference with his privacy of person, family, home or correspondence except by order of a court of competent jurisdiction. That is the oldest of the four, and still the clearest: your records are yours, and nobody gets to read them without a court saying so.
- The Data Protection Act. In 2026 President Boakai signed Liberia's first data protection law, the Act for the Collection, Processing, Transmission, Storage, Protection, and Use of Personal Information in Liberia. It is the statute this page is written to sit under. It is also brand new, and its text and its institutions are still being published, so rather than quote sections nobody can read yet, the sections below describe the rights the app gives you today.
- West African rules. Liberia has signed the ECOWAS Supplementary Act on Personal Data Protection, adopted in Abuja in February 2010. It requires every member state to have a data protection law of its own and an independent authority to enforce it, and it restricts sending personal data out of the region unless the country receiving it protects it properly.
- The older sectoral laws. The Electronic Transactions Law of 2002 and the Telecommunications Act of 2007 cover records kept electronically and information held by communications providers. They are narrower than the rest, and they are part of why we treat a customer's name with the same care as a password.
One honest limit. Liberia does not yet have a data protection authority up and running, so there is no regulator for you to complain to about us, and none for us to notify if something goes wrong. That is the reason the Contact section at the foot of this page is a person and not a form. When an authority opens, we will name it here with its details, so you can take anything about us to it.
The short version
- We store what you type into Traqer, so the app can show it back to you.
- We do not sell it, we do not advertise against it, and we do not use it to train anything.
- We never connect to your bank or mobile money, and Traqer never moves your money.
- You can export everything or delete everything yourself, from Profile, without asking us.
What we store
- Your account. Your email address, and a password held in a form nobody at Creaq Technologies can read. If you sign in with a phone number instead, the phone number.
- What you record. Amounts, dates, categories, wallets, the customer or supplier names you type, your notes, and the original sentence you wrote before Traqer interpreted it.
- Your business details. Business name, phone, address, country, logo, stamp and receipt wording, because these are printed on the documents you produce.
- The documents you create. Receipts, invoices, quotations and reports, and any images you attach to them.
- Your settings. Currency, timezone, language, theme, and which screens you have already seen.
- Diagnostics. Described further down, and narrowly limited.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
- We do not run advertising or behavioural tracking. The app's content security policy permits network connections to Traqer itself and to our database, and to nothing else, so a third-party tracker could not load even if someone added one by mistake.
- We do not connect to your bank, your mobile money or your cards. Traqer holds no account numbers and no card details, and it never asks for a bank login.
- We do not send your transactions to an AI service. The engine that reads your sentences runs inside the app, on your own device, and a small language model is shipped with it for that purpose. AI help is the one thing that leaves the device, it is off unless you turn it on, and the section below says exactly what it sends and what it never sends.
AI help
AI help is off until you turn it on. It is asked about once during setup, it can be switched on or off on Profile at any time, and while it is off nothing on this page changes: no question, sentence or image goes to an AI service.
While it is on, four things can go to DeepSeek, the AI provider we use:
- The wording of a question the engine inside the app could not place, along with the names of your categories and wallets. It is rephrased into a question the engine already understands. Traqer still works out the answer, from your own records.
- A digest of your own totals, when the engine cannot make sense of a question: either it has no way to answer it, or it can only guess at what you meant. The digest is figures Traqer has already worked out: what you spent and received in each period, in each currency and in each category, your wallet balances, and the names of your envelopes. The model chooses which of those figures answers the question and says it in a sentence; it is not sent the transactions behind them, and an answer containing a figure Traqer did not supply is thrown away rather than shown.
- A summary of a period, in percentages and rankings, when you ask for one on Reports. No amounts and no transaction rows are sent, and a reply containing a figure we did not supply is thrown away and never shown.
- A photo you choose to have read into the message box, and only that photo.
What is never sent, whether AI help is on or off: your transactions, the descriptions and merchants you type, your customer names, your receipts and your documents. The digest above carries totals and the names of your categories and wallets; it carries no line you entered. Recording a transaction by typing sends nothing to any AI service.
Voice input is the exception, and it is the browser rather than Traqer. On Chrome and Edge the browser's own speech service recognises what you say; on Safari it usually happens on the device. That is how the microphone works, it applies whether or not AI help is on, and it only ever happens while you have pressed the microphone.
Free accounts get five AI reads a week. Paid plans include a hundred. Answering a question in Q&A is not counted against that allowance; it is limited separately, so a long day of questions cannot spend a week of photo readings. Turning AI help off stops all of it at once, and the reply you already have stays where it is.
Who can see your records
You. Every table in our database enforces row-level security, which means the database itself refuses to return one account's records to another. It is not a rule enforced only by the application: a bug in our code cannot talk the database out of it.
Data is stored with Supabase on infrastructure encrypted at rest, and travels over HTTPS. The internal dashboard we use to see how Traqer is being used shows counts and anonymous identifiers only. It does not show balances, descriptions, or customer names, and we do not browse your records casually.
Where your data is held
Traqer runs on Supabase, which provides our database, our sign-in and our file storage, and on Vercel, which serves the application. Both are established infrastructure providers, and both store data encrypted at rest.
Two things we fetch from elsewhere for everyone, and neither carries anything about you. Exchange rates are collected by our own server, on a schedule, from two public rate services that require no key and are sent no identifier. Email we send you is delivered by an email provider on our behalf.
A third is used only while AI help is on: DeepSeek receives the question wording, the percentages-only summary or the photo described in the AI help section above, and nothing else. Its own published terms govern what it does with that data; we do not send it anything beyond what is listed there, and we switch it off the moment you do.
This means your records leave Liberia, and that is worth saying rather than burying. Both providers hold data in data centres outside West Africa, so your information travels there and is stored there. West African rules allow that only where the country receiving it protects it to a comparable standard, which is the standard we hold these two to: encrypted at rest, encrypted in transit, and bound by their own published terms as processors, which is to say they hold our data on our instructions rather than for their own purposes.
Your documents and images
Logos, stamps, receipt photographs and generated PDFs are held in private storage. They are not public and cannot be reached by guessing or sharing a link: when the app needs to display one, it asks the database for a link that expires shortly afterwards. A link that leaks therefore stops working.
Diagnostics and feedback
When something breaks, the app may send us an error message and which screen it happened on. Before that leaves your device it is stripped of amounts, balances, names, emails, phone numbers and descriptions. The stripping happens against a list of blocked field names, so a crash report cannot carry your money even if the code that produced it tried to.
If you send us feedback through the app, we receive exactly what you wrote. It also carries a few facts about the session so we can reproduce what you saw: which category you chose, which screen you were on, whether you were in Personal or Professional, your language and theme, the build you were running, and roughly how wide your screen is. It never carries your balances, your transactions, your customers, your receipts or the answers Q&A gave you.
Separately, we would like to record which features are used, so we can tell whether a screen is worth keeping. That is off until you accept it in the consent bar, and turning it off again is one tap. The section below says exactly what it covers.
Your data is yours
Liberian and West African data protection law gives you rights over your own information: to be told what is held, to see it, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to object to it being used. Below is where you exercise each of them. None of them needs a written request, an email, or our permission, because each one is a button in the app.
- Export. From Profile, download everything Traqer holds about you as a single file, any time, without asking us. It reaches your computer directly and does not pass through our staff.
- Deletion. From Profile, delete your account. Your records are removed from our database and your files are removed from storage. This cannot be undone. Export first if you want a copy.
- Correction. Every figure in Traqer is editable by you, and deleted records sit in Trash for 90 days before they are purged.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. Records you delete rest in Trash for 90 days and are then purged. Deleting your account removes your records and your files, and we keep no separate archive of them.
Children
Traqer is a tool for running a business and keeping personal accounts. Liberian law, in the Children's Law of 2011, treats anyone under 18 as a child, and Traqer is not intended for anyone under that age. We do not knowingly create accounts for children, we do not ask for a date of birth, and nobody under 18 should give us one. If you believe a child has an account, write to us and we will remove it and everything in it.
If any of this changes
If we change how any of this works, we will change this page, because it is written to describe what the app does rather than what we would like it to do. It is dated so you can tell when we last did.
